Elections have consequences. Are you ready to create some?
Are you a market urbanist? Are you eerily fascinated by Nevada's legislature? When both Reno and Sparks kicked electric scooters out of town, did you ask all of your friends and loved ones what gave municipal governments the right to decide who does business in town and who doesn't? For that matter, do you wonder who gave municipal governments the right to exist in the first place?
Do you think everyone should have freedom and liberty?
Are you a Libertarian?
If you said yes to any of these questions, this convention is for you.
Who can attend?
You!
Seriously, our convention is open to the public. Stop on by and bring friends.
What will we be doing?
If you are a registered Libertarian Party voter in the State of Nevada, you are eligible to help us select our slate of local partisan candidates for 2020, or even run yourself. If you are also a dues paying member of the Libertarian Party of Nevada, you are also eligible to join or vote for members of the Washoe County Libertarian Party Executive Committee, as well as help amend our bylaws.
Where will the convention be?
The convention will be at Ferino Distillery on East 4th Street in Reno on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Doors open at 11, business will begin at 11:15, and will conclude by 3 PM.
Kids are welcome - we asked.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to buy coffee or other refreshments during the convention.
